Pink Finance
Nicole Cannon
Director Nicole Cannon founded Pink Finance as a way to deliver education, clarity and positivity to every client’s home loan journey. From Day One, Nicole built an ethical business on this ambition and the broking world noticed, awarding Nicole the first ever Australian industry awards for Ethics, Social Responsibility and Community Engagement. Nicole is now a key influence for many brokers adopting a social responsibility program.
Nicole originally became a mortgage broker as a result of a bad experience with one when purchasing her first property in 2001. The broker left Nicole ‘in the dark’, not communicating or educating her about this significant life event, so Nicole decide to empower herself, learn fast, follow up the loan and track it herself. Soon after, she became a qualified and licensed broker to help other women achieve their dreams.
It was only in the 70’s when a woman could not apply for a loan on her own. To be able to make this possible is just awesome.
Nicole’s passion is fuelled every time she contributes to someone’s life journey, whether they’re buying their first home or investment property, or taking control over their credit card debts.
It’s amazing to be part of my clients high level goals. It’s the reason I created Pink Finance – to empower people with choice; to nurture those goals into reality.
First property secured, Nicole now has plans to grow her investments with property in rural Australia, as well as overseas in some of her favourite locations, like the south of France and the Orkney Islands of Scotland.
When Nicole’s not happily pottering in her vegetable garden up at her Oberon property, you’ll likely find her being a daredevil somewhere. With a history of swimming in the North Sea ‘just because’, and plans to trek Kokoda, sleep in an igloo and ride the top 10 roller coasters in the world, you can be sure Nicole’s up to something adventurous in the outdoors whenever she has a minute to spare!
Sports-wise, she’s a self-confessed cricket tragic, loving everything about it, including supporting the cricket-borne women’s health charity McGrath Foundation through Pink Finance. The McGrath Foundation is the reason Pink Finance is PINK! Another love is music. Nicole’s played the Euphonium for 30 years, now also plays the Trombone and has been a musician with the Australian Army Reserve Band for 12 years and with the NSW Fire and Rescue Band for 5 years.

Toni Parkin
Toni is a Pink Finance Loan Processing Officer with 15 years of industry experience. Working across the gamut of loans during the years, from retail lending, first home loans, investments, and debt consolidation, Toni saw the impact she had in helping people obtain their dreams and be in control of their finances; this turned her role as a loan processor, from ‘just a job’, into a passion.
Knowing that what I do helps people and makes them happy, is very satisfying.
Toni’s focus is on making the process of securing a loan as easy and timely as possible for her clients. This unstoppable work ethic was rewarded when Toni was nominated for Best Loan Administrator in the Better Business Summit Awards. Another career highlight – obtaining a Cert 4 – is another way Toni has built upon her natural ability to help and advise others.
I am very lucky to do what I do. I have Cystic Fibrosis and working with Pink Finance allows me the flexibility to look after myself and my family but also work like a “normal” person.
When she isn’t making people’s dreams of home ownership come true, Toni travels with her husband and daughter to Thailand and enjoys local holidays too, loves the NRL (Go Roosters!) and is a mean gun at netball.
